The indie Mind is a full service creative production studio that is located in Dallas, TX. We create artistic work through effective collaboration in various media including film, video and photography.

Our focus is on documentaries, promotional videos, new media campaigns for web and broadcasting networks.

WHY The Indie Mind?

The indie mind was born from the hard and dedicated work of Daniel Montoya. As an independent producer, director and editor, Daniel has collaborated with 500 fortune companies like AIG and HBO among others. Daniel possesses over ten years of international experience in the field of video production and post production.

He earned his BA degree in Audiovisual Media from the Politécnico GranColombiano Institute in Bogotá with an emphasis in film production and direction. Focusing in documentary esthetics and direction of photography.

After graduating with honors for his short film “Closure Problem”, Daniel joined a team of filmmakers to create and develop a TV campaign for the city of Bogotá. This campaign played an important key role in the development of Daniel’s production style. The city of Bogota was seeking to change their dark image and this task helped Daniel discover his true niche, the art of building identities for brands and corporations.

Since then, Daniel has developed numerous TV commercial spots, documentaries, video ads, promotional videos, educational courses and materials, e-learning, music videos and short films.
